About the Role

As an Accounts Payable professional, you’ll play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and supporting business operations. These contract roles allow you to showcase your skills, gain valuable industry exposure, and work with leading organizations while maintaining flexibility.

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do

• Optimize Financial Processes – Ensure accurate and efficient full-cycle accounts payable processing, contributing to smooth financial operations and business stability.
• Enhance Financial Accuracy – Manage invoice processing with precision, ensuring compliance with financial policies and improving cash flow management.
• Ensure Timely Payments – Oversee cheque runs, wire transfers, and EFT payments, strengthening vendor relationships and maintaining operational efficiency.
• Maintain Financial Integrity – Proactively resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting and uninterrupted operations.
• Strengthen Vendor Partnerships – Build and maintain strong vendor relationships by addressing inquiries and ensuring smooth transaction processes.
• Support Financial Compliance – Accurately process and validate expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies and budget controls.
• Drive Strategic Decisions – Conduct detailed reconciliations and financial reporting to provide insights that support key business decisions.
• Lead & Develop Teams – Mentor and guide accounts payable staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What You Bring

• Must-Have Qualifications :
• Experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.

Nice-to-Have :

• Experience with accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Experience working in high-volume or corporate environments.
• Supervisory experience for leadership roles.
