This Senior Accounts Payable Analyst role is focused on processing a high volume of invoices within a large, complex enterprise environment.

About the Role : The successful candidate will manage utility account payments, validate PO and non-PO invoices, interact with suppliers and business units, resolve issues related to invoice exceptions, and support general AP operations. Candidates must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, handling sensitive financial information, and delivering excellent internal and external customer service.

Responsibilities :

• Manage utility account payments
• Validate PO and non-PO invoices
• Interact with suppliers and business units
• Resolve issues related to invoice exceptions

Qualifications :

• 5+ years of direct AP processing experience within large corporate environments (preferred oil & gas or similarly complex industries)
• Strong SAP skills (required); experience with VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) is an asset
• Ability to process 150–160 invoices per day, including CA / US transactions
• Strong understanding of withholding tax, holdbacks, and general accounting principles
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, research, and resolve invoice / payment issues under pressure
• High attention to detail and ethical handling of confidential financial data
• Comfortable using Excel and other tools for reporting and analysis
• Post-secondary education is not required but practical experience must be clearly demonstrated

Required Skills :

• Experience in high-volume, complex enterprise environments with multiple entities / divisions
• Oil & gas industry experience is preferred; international invoice exposure is a plus
• Strong soft skills, particularly verbal and written communication
• 2-monitor workstation setup is required (when working from home)
• Confidence in responding to inquiries and communicating with both internal and external stakeholders
• Senior-level, detail-oriented, and able to self-manage in a structured, performance-tracked environment

Pay range and compensation package :

• 35.50 CAD / hr
