What You’ll Do

You’ll act with integrity to :

  • Demonstrate professionalism and independence from political influences
  • Follow established policies and procedures
  • Maintain tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality at all times

You’ll support our collaboration by :

  • Applying your knowledge of accounting principles
  • Processing accounts payable invoices, expense claims, and lease / rental payments accurately and timely for clients including the Office of the Assembly, MPPs, Caucuses, and Commissions
  • Verifying invoices and expense claims against budgets and policies

How You Qualify

You demonstrate excellence through :

  • Experience in accounts payable
  • Ability to resolve expenditure issues
  • Proficiency in arithmetic, accounting, and expenditure verification
  • Ability to work with figures in a fast-paced, computerized environment
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, judgment, and analytical skills
  • Exceptional teamwork, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting systems and software
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with some accounting courses
