Job description

The art of negotiation and procurement: you've got it! We're looking for a daring spirit like yours to join our team. You'll be the main point of contact between our suppliers and Kimpex. This role combines strategic and operational responsibilities, and you'll enjoy a high degree of autonomy. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers, while ensuring optimal management of the product offering to support our growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction objectives.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage orders (PO, dunning, dates, receiving discrepancies) and develop purchasing strategies to maximize service levels, inventory turns, and profit margins.
  • Develop and maintain effective and lasting business relationships with assigned suppliers.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers (prices, discounts, terms, MOQ, etc.).
  • Manage the product assortment: selection, introduction, creation, and rationalization of the offer.
  • Analyze the performance of products in the portfolio and recommend concrete actions.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competition, and new developments in the powersports sector.
  • Prospect for new partnerships with strong brands in our industry.
  • Visit suppliers and participate in exhibitions when required.
  • Participate in the management of forecasts for assigned accounts.
  • Manage warranty claims for assigned accounts.
  • Please note that the internal title is Account Manager.
