Laurentian University is seeking a Full-Time Temporary Appointment to support timely processing of vendor invoices, deposits, and journal entries. Reporting to the Manager, Research and Accounting, the incumbent will primarily be responsible for the timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices, ensuring proper purchasing policies are followed as well as preparing daily deposits. The incumbent will also work with the Treasury staff to process weekly cheque runs, assist in the preparation and posting of journal entries and support with processing of employee and student expense reimbursements.

The official University hours of operation shall be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, during, and including, the months from September to April, and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m Monday through Friday during and including May to August., amounting to thirty-three and three-quarter (33.75) hours per week.
