Job description

We are looking for a Accounts Payable Clerk in the Woodstock, NB location to support a subsidiary of Xplore Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for the accounts payable function. You will ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices by matching to the Purchase Orders, following up on any discrepancies, establishing and maintaining good relationship with the suppliers reconcile supplier statements. Key responsibilities include :

  • Coding and inputting incoming invoices into SAP including matching the invoices to the respective POs
  • Filing applicable invoices and documentation
  • Completing cheque requests
  • Handling incoming mail and distributing to the appropriate parties within the department
  • Conducting account reconciliations within the timeframes and processes established
  • Processing employee expense reimbursement reports
  • Other duties to be assigned The ideal candidate will possess :
  • Two-year post-secondary degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • 1 - 2 years previous work experience preferably in a similar finance related role in a fast-paced office environment
  • Basic knowledge of accounting, proficiency in Microsoft Office - particularly Excel
