What will you be doing?

As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will ensure the timely and accurate payment of invoices for a portfolio of properties. This position will primarily involve credit card administration, auditing, and support, so experience with credit cards is necessary. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining systems, policies, and procedures related to AP functions.
  • Assisting with priority payments to vendors.
  • Reviewing vendor reconciliations to ensure variances are resolved promptly.
  • Assisting with monthly account analysis.
  • Ensuring all payments comply with corporate policies, including proper approval and correct general ledger coding.
  • Responding to and resolving internal and external inquiries & liaising with other departments to ensure accurate and timely payments within cash flow constraints.
  • Providing weekly accounts payable aging reports and updates on outstanding items.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of full cycle AP experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of purchase orders is an asset.
  • Experience working with a large ERP system is an asset.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
