Fasten your seatbelt! Fix Network is looking for an Account Payable Clerk in our Burnaby office who loves to put the foot to the floor! At Fix Network, we build highways of connections! As an Account Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for entering data and tasks related to non-salary disbursements of accounts payable to individuals, suppliers, businesses, and other entities.

The daily road of an Account Payable Clerk at Fix Network

• Obtain necessary approvals for disbursements and ensure expenditures do not exceed available funds;
• Prepare and complete payments for third parties by check, credit card, direct deposit, etc.;
• Check requests to purchase materials, supplies, equipment, and other collateral, verifying proper account debits;
• Reconcile corporate payments to the general ledger;
• Review invoices for errors or anomalies, including regulatory standards and internal procedures;
• Reconcile paid invoices with vendor statements and work with suppliers for timely payments;
• Examine and resolve billing anomalies or mishandled transactions;
• Balance weekly accounts payable lots and prepare/distribute reports to key personnel;
• Ensure confidentiality and protection of financial documents;
• Develop strategies for one-time payments and reducing vendor objections;
• Investigate payment issues following company policies and procedures;
• Monthly compilation of employee expense reports and expenses made with corporate credit cards;
• Process and reimburse expense reports;
• Other related duties as assigned.

The profile we are looking for:

• At least one (1) year of recent, related experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable environment;
• Ability to reconcile medium and complex accounts;
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook;
• Microsoft Dynamic 365 ERP experience is an asset.
