Job summary

Coulson Aviation in Port Alberni, BC is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join our Finance team. This full-time, onsite role offers the chance to contribute to a growing multi-entity organization while supporting aerial firefighting operations worldwide.

The position pays CA$55,000 to CA$65,000 annually, with company-paid benefits and a collaborative local team. You will process vendor invoices, manage payments, and ensure accurate coding across currencies, supporting month-end

Qualifications

• At least two years of accounts payable or full-cycle bookkeeping experience.
• Diploma or certificate in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• Progress toward CPA designation is an asset.
• Experience with three-way matching, invoicing, payment processing, and internal controls.
• Strong MS Excel and Outlook skills.
• Experience with Concur is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of vendor invoices across multiple entities and currencies.
• Prepare EFT, wire, and cheque payment runs with proper approvals.
• Process employee expenses in Concur with receipts and coding.
• Reconcile vendor statements and respond to invoice/payment inquiries.
• Maintain vendor records and compliance documents.
• Support month-end closing and AP subledger reconciliation.
• Monitor shared AP inbox and respond to inquiries.
• Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes.
