We’re currently supporting one of our industrial services clients in their search for an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join their finance team on a 3-month contract located in SE Calgary. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong SAP skills, and enjoys working with a collaborative, down-to-earth team.
This contract requires someone who is available to start immediately.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Processing 200–250 transactions per week using SAP, including:
- Purchase Order (PO) related entries
- Non-PO invoice entries (must have experience with one, ideally both)
- Performing vendor statement reconciliations independently
- Preparing and processing weekly payment runs (wires, ACH, and cheques)
- Reviewing and requesting updates to vendor master data where needed
- Responding to vendor inquiries and following up on invoice discrepancies
- Auditing employee expense submissions through SAP Concur
- Assisting with month-end tasks, such as accruals and blocked invoice reports
- Participating in internal finance meetings to support key reporting deliverables
What You Bring:
- Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Strong working knowledge of SAP—ideally with both PO and non-PO entries
- Demonstrated ability to reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Meticulous attention to detail—accuracy in high-volume processing is essential
- Experience handling or maintaining vendor master data is a plus
- Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a broader finance team
