We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable & Administration Officer to become an integral part our Finance & Procurement Team.
This roleis based at our head office in the Brisbane Technology Park at Eight Mile Plains.
This position is highly suited to an energetic individual who is a fast learner, good communicator and enjoys working with a dynamic, fast paced environment. You will be working closely with all stakeholders, and will be embraced by a highly supportive and a collaborative team.
Key role responsibilities will include, but not limited to :
Preparing and checking supplier invoices for payment,
Reconciliation of supplier statements,
Entering supplier invoices accuracy in MYOB EXO in a timely manner,
Ensure supplier invoice approvals are adequately met (gatekeeping of Accounts Payable approval process),
Timely investigation and follow up of exceptions,
Maintain and update data or records in Accounts Payable systems when appropriate, including the setup of new creditor accounts,
Processing proceeds into respective customer accounts in timely manner,
Assist in Accounts Receivable duties, bank reconciliation process, coordination of banking, and incoming mail management,
Processing of employee expenses including checking accuracy of claim against receipts,
Assistance with raising purchase orders when required,
Assisting in processing supplier payment runs,
Assisting in receipts allocations and bank reconciliation,
Cross-training within the team and other ad hoc responsibilities as requested.
The successful applicant will ideally :
Have excellent data entry skills and attention to detail in all areas of your work;
Be organized and have great time management skills;
Have an excellent telephone manner and ability to maintain intact communication;
Be a team player, with great work ethic and a positive work attitude;
Have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to rapidly learn new software;
Thrive in a fast-paced workplace and have a great ability to multitask;
Have the capability to work autonomously or within a team, manage their own workload and meet deadlines;
Have a high level of verbal and written communication skills;
Be driven and self-motivated with the ability to support processes and improvements;
Be able to develop internal and external customer relationships;
A finance background and skills in MYOB EXO would be an advantage.
