Job summary

A recruitment agency in Ontario is seeking an experienced candidate to manage accounts payable and receivable processes. Responsibilities include processing vendor invoices, generating customer invoices, and reconciling accounts. Ideal applicants will have a post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years of experience in similar roles. Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel is required. This role offers a competitive salary between $55,000 and $65,000 annually.

About the Opportunity

Process, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices and payments using automated invoicing systems

  • Generate, issue, and follow up on customer invoices in accordance with contract terms
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure accuracy
  • Manage vendor and customer account inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers, payments, and deposits
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing and production, to resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records for audits and reporting
About You
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in AP/AR roles
  • ERP experience, knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables experience is a strong asset)
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
Salary Range

$55,000 - $65,000 / year
