Job description

A well-known company in the Legal sector is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team. Daily duties include all aspects of purchase & sales ledger, reconciliations, credit control, and banking. This list could develop over time. Applicants must be able to adapt to changing deadlines and possess accuracy and a methodical approach.

THE ROLE
  1. Full-time, mainly office-based with some hybrid working options.
  2. Be part of a welcoming team processing ledger invoices, reconciliations, credit control, and general preparation of client accounts.
  3. Additional duties may be added over time.
  4. Identify, investigate, and resolve all account queries.
  5. Experience within the legal sector is advantageous but not essential.
THE CANDIDATE
  1. Must have the ability to process purchase and sales ledger invoices, reconciliations, credit control, and a willingness to accept additional duties.
  2. Able to remain calm, focused, and accurate whilst striving towards deadlines.
  3. Methodical approach to processing transactional accounts.
  4. Confident and competent with Microsoft Word & Excel.
