Job description

Job Responsibility

  • Utilize ERP systems (e.g. Synergix) to perform daily data entries on AP invoices and ensure data entry accuracy.

  • Maintain proper filing system.

  • Assist in keeping full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

  • Assist to manage the full spectrum of accounting and financial functions, including project-related accounting if applicable.

  • Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and statutory reporting.

  • Assist in monitoring and manage cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to support efficient financial operations.

  • Assist to liaise with external auditors and tax agents on audit matters, corporate tax, and other regulatory compliance requirements, if applicable.

  • Assist to maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring accurate tracking, depreciation, and disposal of assets and twice-yearly stock taking.

  • Assist in the preparation of cash flow forecast reports and perform variance analysis where necessary.

  • Assist in preparation and submit quarterly GST returns in accordance with IRAS regulations.

  • Perform other ad-hoc finance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Requirements

· Diploma in Accounting or relevant certifications

· Relevant accounting experience in the construction industry is preferred

· Familiar with Singapore’s tax regulations, particularly those affecting the construction sector

· Good understanding of construction accounting standards, job costing, and project-based financial reporting

· Detailed and conscientious to given task.

Location: Near Admiralty MRT, within a 10-minute walking distance to the workplace.
