Accounting Technician - Yardi

This versatile position will allow you to contribute directly to the organization’s accounting operations in a flexible, collaborative, and purpose-driven environment.

This is a FT Permanent position and requires candidates to have YARDI EXPERIENCE. Only candidates with hands-on experience working with Yardi will be considered for the position. Please do not apply to this posting if you are missing the above experience.

Advantages

Vacation: 2 weeks to start and increases based on years of service.

Schedule: 40h/week, flexible schedule depending on team (start at 8 or 8:30 a.m.).

Competitive base salary + $5000 year-end performance bonus.

Responsibilities

1. Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet accounts.
2. Monitor fixed assets, depreciation, prepaid expenses, etc.
3. Accounts payable and receivable duties.
4. Report to the Accounting advisor and CEO for any accounting-related duties.
5. Manage work in progress and intercompany transactions.
6. Meet closing and reporting deadlines.
7. Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end files.

Qualifications

1. 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
2. Education in accounting.
3. Very good command of the full accounting cycle.
4. At ease with Excel.
5. Experience in property management / real estate is an asset.
