Location: Kenora Board Office

Hours of Work: Full-Time (1.0 FTE) at 35 hours per week

Rate of Pay: Current Grid: $66,098 - $80,341

Grid effective September 1, 2025: $67,750 - $82,350

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Finance Manager, the Accounting Technician maintains the school board's general ledger, prepares financial reports, reconciles bank accounts, assists with financial statements and budgets, manages scholarships/trust funds, and administers school funds.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College diploma in finance or accounting; university degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in general ledger or financial reporting; school board experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of PSAB standards.
