Job description

I'm currently recruiting for a growing company in the Montreal area looking for a hands-on Accountant to join their finance team! If you're experienced in full-cycle accounting and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role might be for you!

Salary :

60k to 75k

Start date :

As soon as possible

Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle accounting including inventory, COGS, and AP
  • Prepare and file sales and corporate tax returns (Canada & USA)
  • Reconcile bank accounts and GL accounts
  • Handle financial reporting and general accounting tasks
  • Support audit preparations with proper documentation
  • Record journal entries and ensure transaction accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Perform regular and full inventory counts
  • Match POs, BOLs, and invoices (3-way matching)
Qualifications
  • DEC, AEC, or Bachelor's in Accounting (or related field)
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting
  • Strong skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP systems
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • High integrity and attention to detail
