ABOUT ATMOS FINANCIAL SERVICES INC.

Who are we, and why do we exist?

ATMOS Financial Services Inc. (“ATMOS”) is a trailblazing, fast-growing and well-established business success, and professional services firm. We hire self-managed, highly motivated individuals who embody our shared Vision and Mission. ATMOS Financial Services Inc. deploys an innovative combination of technology and professional services that is unique in Canada. We offer flexible and remote work opportunities, broad professional growth potential, and sector-leading benefits.

Our Vision

ATMOS is a trailblazing technology-based financial services firm. We deliver exceptional services with honesty, integrity and professionalism. We’re here to help entrepreneurs and business leaders achieve their dreams knowing that their financial and compliance requirements are completely taken care of.

We believe that business owners should have support that enables them to focus on the future and on increasing the value of their company. We believe that precise and immediate financial results, insights, and guidance are critical for business owners to realize their potential. We believe that connected technology is best suited to quickly and accurately capture and process data, and that people should be engaged in data entry as little as possible.

We believe in aligning our destiny with our clients' successes, which is why we charge based on value, not time.

We see problems as opportunities, and we say “no” to working with companies that do not share our vision, allowing us to focus on those that do.

We believe that our sum is greater than any one of us and that, together, we will increase the rate of private company success.

Our Mission

We deliver exceptional financial and professional services with honesty, integrity and professionalism.

We always remain humble so that our clients feel comfortable explaining their challenges and opportunities. We believe that a thorough understanding of our clients’ circumstances and backgrounds enables us to fulfill their accounting and tax requirements beyond their expectations.

We engage in mindful collaboration with our clients to understand their goals and objectives, as well as their fears and challenges. We seek out strategic alliances for our clients to ensure growth and opportunity.

We provide business owners with the tools, information, and guidance they need to thrive, grow their revenues, manage costs, make more informed decisions, and focus on what matters most – the comprehensive well-being of themselves and their families.

Our Core Values

  • Humility: We are open to feedback and constructive criticism. We allow ourselves to be vulnerable, which enables us to be open with our own ideas and feedback to each other, as well as to our clients and suppliers, knowing that rejection only gives us a chance to learn and try again. We always show respect to others and value the work they do.
  • Accountable: We own our words, actions, and attitudes, whether they contributed positively or negatively. We are honest, open, and transparent. We do the things we say we will do. When we fail, we admit it frankly, and diligently seek to make the situation right.
  • Positivity: We have a can-do attitude, which contributes to an infectious enthusiasm and energy that propels others forward. We see obstacles as opportunities. We maintain a positive outlook and view perceived negatives as opportunities for growth and education.
  • Curiosity: We ask questions, challenge assumptions, and seek out new perspectives. We seek to learn new things, and we believe that there are always better ways of doing things just waiting to be discovered.
  • Commitment: We are completely committed to the success of our clients, our fellow team members, and ourselves. We do what we need to do to get past our challenges, no matter what. We do not give up when the going is tough.

Accountability

All ATMOS team members are accountable to one another and, of course, to our clients. You are expected to provide regular weekly progress reports as to the status and progress of your work to the entire team during team check-ins.

Performance metrics

Each team member at ATMOS is encouraged to set their own performance metrics based on their abilities and contributions. Below are examples of performance metrics on which you will be measured:

  • Accuracy, measured by errors in accounting and tax returns – or lack thereof;
  • Timeliness, measured by on-time deliverables;
  • Knowledge, measured by the number of queries successfully and accurately answered in ways that clients could easily understand and implement
  • Efficiency, measured by time spent on specific projects and by the ratio of time spent on client work compared to administrative tasks;
  • Client satisfaction, measured by client surveys and referrals;
  • Issue identification, measured by new services delivered or solutions presented.

Compensation

We offer a base remuneration package which will vary widely depending on the ethos, experience, and fit of the candidate.
