Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Technician, located in Lethbridge, AB. The Accounting Technician will be responsible for preparing and examining financial statements, preparing GST returns, filing payroll, handling bookkeeping tasks, managing and maintaining accounting software, and performing financial analytical tasks. Additional responsibilities include assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations, and supporting the senior accounting team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing and examining Financial Statements
• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret and plan financial data
• Experience in Bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
• Familiarity with Accounting Software and its usage
• Knowledge of Finance and its principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Relevant certification or diploma in Accounting or Finance
• Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is a plus
