Job summary

Harnois Énergies in Dorval, QC, is seeking an Accounting Technician for a maternity leave replacement (12 to 15 months). Based in our Aviation team, you will support the full accounting cycle, fuel inventory management, and accounts receivable.

The position requires at least 2 years in a similar role, DEP/DEC or related education, knowledge of Sage 50, and strong Excel; French bilingualism is required to communicate with our teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• DEP, DEC or related education in Administration/Accounting.
• Knowledge of Sage 50 accounting software is an asset.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Bilingualism (French required to communicate with our teams).

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and accounting support for airport operations, including financial transaction processing and customer account monitoring.
• Prepare and analyze operational and financial reports, including profit and loss and inventory reconciliations.
• Monitor aviation fuel inventories and ensure data accuracy by identifying discrepancies.
• Prepare weekly aviation fuel (Jet Fuel) pricing and assist with fuel tax reporting requirements.
• Verify invoices, prepare accounting entries, and follow up on customer accounts receivable.

• Provide administrative and accounting support for airport operations, including financial transaction processing and customer account monitoring;
• Prepare and analyze various operational and financial reports, including profit and loss reports and inventory reconciliations;

To Succeed As An Accounting Technician, You Will Need

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role;
• A DEP, DEC, or other relevant education in Administration, Accounting, or a related field;
