Key Accountabilities:

• Process capital, revenue, royalty and expense amounts within the terms of governing agreements
• Prepare reports; journal entries and statements of accounts
• Reconcile and analyze various general ledger accounts
• Set up and manage a number of oil and gas properties and their transaction files
• Gather, research, enter and confirm data accuracy
• Clarify, investigate and respond to queries and disputes from partners and internal departments
• Process audit queries from outside partners and internal audit
• Contribute to project work

What You Bring to the Role:

• Currently enrolled in your 2nd or 3rd year of an undergraduate degree program in Accounting, with a commitment to a career in Accounting
• Attention to detail is critical, as are strong analytical skills with a strong work ethic and effective communication skills
• Familiarity with and understanding of:
  • Accounting concepts and principles
  • Research strategies and analytical thinking
  • Microsoft Excel
