Job Title : Accounting Receivable Administrator

Position Type : Permanent Full Time

Job Purpose :

JD Aero is excited to announce the expansion of our facilities and our customer base.

Our growth requires additional support to satisfy the demand of our projects. We are seeking dedicated individuals who will take on this position with enthusiasm and assist us with our heavy maintenance lines. We primarily service the Dash 8 Q400, Dash 8 100 / 300 and CRJ100 / 200 / 700 / 900 aircraft, Boeing 737 (all series) and Embraer E170 / 175 aircraft.

Job Description :

Accountable to the Managing Directors – Don McNabb and Julian Chin, this position fulfills tasks related to accounting, and accounts receivable. Experience working with an executive management team and handling confidential information is imperative.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain a professional demeanour and appearance while working closely with the managing directors, other executive staff members, as well as interfacing with vendors and customers.
  • Full accounts receivable cycle : creating, monitoring, and processing client invoices.
  • Utilize company accounting software to sort and prepare invoices for their proper accounts.
  • Assist Corporate Finance Lead with imperative banking functions such as credit card entries and petty cash monitoring, along with applicable banking reconciliations and monthly tasks.
  • Collaborate with the FBO Department to create invoices, reconcile statements, forward fuel tickets, maintain spreadsheet logs, and prepare monthly reports.
  • Assist Operations Support Clerk in collaboration with FBO Manager to send reports, fuel volumes and daily fuel tickets to AVJet Holdings.
  • Assist with accounts payable functions when required.

Education Requirements

A diploma in Office Administration, Accounting, Business Administration, or combined experience would be considered an asset

Skills & Qualifications :

  • Experience in office administration required
  • An aptitude for accounting concepts and knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) with the ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of basic accounting procedures with focus on accounts receivable.
  • Familiarity in accounting software, ex. : QuickBooks, Sage Accounting, Simply, etc.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of data with close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Computer proficiency, including intermediate knowledge of Excel spreadsheet applications is an asset.
  • Flexibility, adaptability and ability to focus on evolving to meet changing needs and demands.

Working hours :
