About the Position

You are rigorous, structured, and you enjoy juggling numbers?

Our client, a well-established accounting firm, is seeking an accounting technician to support professionals in managing the files of their various clients (SMEs, self-employed workers, etc.).

In this role, you will actively participate in bookkeeping, month-end preparation, as well as tax and government returns.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Perform full bookkeeping for various clients
  • Prepare year-end financial statements to support professional accountants
  • Manage GST / QST / DAS returns
  • Collaborate in the preparation of month-end reports
  • Support case managers in audit and analysis
  • Maintain fluid communication with clients to ensure quality service

Your profile

  • DEP, DEC, or AEC in accounting
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a firm
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Acomba, etc.)
  • Excellent command of French (written and spoken)
  • Rigor, discretion, autonomy, and a positive attitude
  • Teamwork
