Randstad Canada is seeking a temporary Accounting Manager for a 6–8 week assignment in Victoria, BC. This role involves overseeing financial operations and supervising an accounting team during the absence of the full-time manager, ensuring essential bookkeeping and reporting continuity. Ideal candidates will possess strong full-cycle accounting expertise and excellent interpersonal skills.
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a temporary 6–8 week assignment to cover a medical leave. The successful candidate will help maintain the company’s financial operations, support month-end close processes, and oversee a small accounting support team.
You will be working closely with the Senior Administrative Assistant and have access to an internal accounting manual. The primary responsibility is to ensure continuity in bookkeeping, reporting, and accounting operations in the absence of the full-time manager.
Location : Victoria, BC (Hybrid – in office Tuesdays and Thursdays)
Start Date : Tentatively June 9 or the week after
Duration : 6–8 weeks (Medical leave coverage)
Pay Rate : $52–$60 / hour
Schedule : Flexible – ideally Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM (or 4 full days / week).
