Summary
iM3 Accounting Manager will lead our accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. You will oversee day-to-day accounting department, manage accounts receivable, staff accountant members, analyze, record, track, and audit financial information. This will also include ensuring that all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
COMPENSATION:
- Our starting rate for this position will be between $100,000 to $110,000 per year, reflecting the full pay scale for this role which ranges
from $98,000 to $150,000. - Full-Time (40-hour week)
- Benefits (including medical, vision, dental after 30 days and 401K up to 3% match after 12 months)
- 9 Holidays + 1 floating
- 2 Week Vacation at 90 days
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
- Manage all aspects of accounting (fixed assets, accounts payable/receivable, billing, general ledger entries, software troubleshooting, bank reconciliation, credit card/expense report reconciliation, cash applications, and collections).
- Collaborate with global finance team (Australia and EU) and support internal finance teams in all locations on all aspects of accounting
- Responsibility for global reporting month-end and year-end, consolidating all iM3 entities (currently 7) in AARO, completing intercompany reconciliation and final checks
- Hiring, training, and motivating accounting staff members while supervising and delegating tasks.
- Evaluating, developing, and improving department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Sales and use tax filing with third party. Managing third party online website. Reviewing and approving returns (Avalara experience a plus).
- Ensuring that all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial legislation.
- Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and participating in audits or reconciliations, as needed.
- Assisting other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business.
- Keeping informed about the latest developments in the accounting industry.

Education:
BS degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.
6+ years’ experience accepted in lieu of degree, or
3+ years’ experience with degree indicated above
Experience:
- 2-5 years proven experience as an Accountant required
- 2-5 years inventory accounting required.
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Sales & use tax experience.
- Expert computer skills– proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines required.
- Business Central experience.
- Software conversion experience is a plus.
