Responsibilities :

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Lead month-end and year-end closing processes in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and financial reporting standards.

Collaborate with project teams to monitor construction budgets, cost reports, and financial progress.

Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions to maintain strong external relationships.

Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Skills and Experience :

Accounting Expertise : Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and full-cycle accounting within the real estate development or construction sector.

Leadership : Proven ability to lead and develop an accounting team while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Communication : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior management, and external partners.

Experience : Minimum of 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with exposure to real estate development, construction, or high-rise residential projects.

Education : CPA designation required; post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
