Our real estate and land development client is actively hiring for a permanent Accounting Manager to join their residential team. Join a solid company that's been around for 50+ years who value their staff and have a fantastic reputation.
Responsibilities:

• Overseeing 3 direct reports
• Maintaining the general ledger, annual working paper files, financial statements, and the construction management system
• Monthly bank reconciliations, monthly HST reconciliations, filing HST returns, and posting aquisitions
• Estimating cash flow throughout the projects
• Reviewing purchase orders, AP listing, AP journals, and invoices

Requirements:

• 4+ years of full cycle accounting experience working in residential high-rise development
• Experience working with developers
• COA in-progress, or completed
• Knowledge of construction cost accounting and year-end working papers
• Advanced MS Excel user
• Experience with a high volume of reconciliations and HST returns
