Accounting Manager

Our TorontoJobs.ca client, a well-established registered investment management firm, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join their team. They are a family-oriented organization based in Burlington, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage fund and corporate audits and ensure compliance with various other regulations.
  • Analyze and validate financial data, including reviewing and creating spreadsheets.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for financial entries and monthly reporting.
  • Help to oversee the Funds' weekly and monthly NAVs, ensuring accurate transactional activity.
  • Support the compliance regime, including updating the Compliance Manual and regulatory reporting.
  • Participate in additional tasks and assist the Management Team as required.
Qualifications:
  • CPA, CA designation preferred.
  • 2-7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and an understanding of QuickBooks.
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective English communication skills, both written and verbal.
