Job description

We are actively searching for a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Coordinator to join
our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with
our subcontractors and suppliers, and takes pride in maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all aspects
of their work. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities
· Oversee the Accounts Payable payment processing and remittance advice distribution,
· Respond to Subcontractor and Supplier payment inquiries,
· Enter invoices into Vista by Viewpoint accounting software with precision and timeliness,
· Sending Remittance Advice for weekly payments,
· Verify new vendor information and conduct annual EFT reviews,
· Maintain and update WSIB certificates and subcontractor compliance records,
· Reconcile monthly credit card statements (Visa, Home Depot, etc.),
· Process out-of-pocket reimbursements and employee expense claims,
· Set up supplier accounts and review monthly statements,
· Post AR payments and assist with job billing alongside Project Accountants,
· Support Principals and Project Managers with financial documentation,
· Assist with office administration, including Health & Safety board setup for new projects.

Qualifications
· 5+ years of accounting experience
· University or college degree in accounting or related field,
· Proficiency with accounting software (Vista by Viewpoint experience is an asset),
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills,
· Excellent written and verbal communication,
· Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality,
· Experience in the construction industry is considered an asset.
