Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION – ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR

1. Job Identification

Job Title: Accounting Coordinator

Department: Accounting

2. Job Duties

· Accounts Receivable, including creation of invoices and processing of patient payments, completion of Accounting Sheet in patient charts, collecting outstanding balances, coordination with other departments regarding patient invoicing and payments.

· Reconcile and manage daily deposits.

· Accounts Payable, including reconciling and managing payments to vendors, and reconciliation and management of inter-clinic and inter-physician billing

· Inventory management

· Management of cost breaks

· Monitoring of bank account balance for automatic withdrawals

· Bank statement reconciliations

· Assist with Year End Accounting process

· OHIP billing, including creating claims, processing monthly Remittance Advice reports for multiple physicians, and fixing and resubmitting billing errors for multiple physicians

· Management of petty cash

3. Specifications

A. Skill Requirements:

· Proficient in QuickBooks

B. Knowledge Requirements:

· Knowledge of fertility treatments and services

· Knowledge of OHIP billing requirements

C. Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift boxes (medications)

D. License/Certification Requirements:

E. Other Abilities Requirements:

Pay: $57,000.00-$67,000.00 per year
