Our firm has an immediate opening for an Accounting Clerk in our Moncton Office. This position is permanent full-time.

Accounting Clerk | Moncton, NB

Responsibilities
  • Post general cash receipts and prepare general cheques from requisitions.
  • Post trust account deposits, cheques and wire transfers in.
  • Prepare trust cheques from requisitions, trust reserves and wire transfers out.
  • Post invoices and expense accounts.
  • Obtain signatures for cheques and deliver / mail cheques.
  • Post sundry disbursements and write-offs.
  • Scan documents to accounting software.
  • Post and reconcile Visa transactions and Petty Cash and;
  • Other duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Excellent technical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs and to work with minimal supervision.
  • Skilled in the use of Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Flexible and reliable, works well both independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written; and
  • Completion of a Business accounting program or equivalent bookkeeping experience along with familiarity with legal systems and products considered an asset.
