Job Description

We are currently looking for an Accounting Clerk at our Executive office in Edmonton,

Responsibilities

  • Perform various day to day accounting transactions and journal entries
  • Track balance sheet accounts and perform monthly account reconciliations
  • Assist with year-end audit requests from external auditors
  • Administration tasks such as bank deposits, incoming mail, invoices
  • Other ad-hoc reporting

Qualifications

  • Studies in basic accounting procedures.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, Advanced Excel is an asset.
  • Ability to manage priorities and have a good sense of organization.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Ability to work within a team and adapt to a variable workload.
  • Positive attitude and professional discretion.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with Quickbooks an asset

Additional Information

Work Conditions:

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5pm, 40 hours

Status: Permanent, full-time.

Location: Edmonton, AB.
