Bulk Barn is seeking a Temporary Accounting Clerk to support the Finance Department in daily accounting duties and transaction processing for the company and stores. The role emphasizes accurate reconciliations, invoice processing, and collaboration with stores.

Ideal candidates will have post-secondary accounting education and 1–3 years of experience with general accounting principles, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Fluency in English; bilingual French is an asset.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Accounting or related field.
• 1-3 years experience in general accounting principles and attention to detail.
• 1-3 years experience with time management, initiative and discretion.
• Experience with bank reconciliations is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Daily reconciliation and tracking of deposits to POS data and bank accounts.
• Bank and float reconciliations and processing of retail sales data, purchases and expenses.
• GL account reconciliations, variance analysis, and some PO analysis.
• Accurate invoice matching, coding and processing per guidelines and vendor terms.
• Assistance with monthly financial reporting and analysis.
• Assistance with annual budget prep and monitoring.
• Assistance with year-end audit working papers.
• Other tasks as determined by management.
