Position Summary

As an Accounting Clerk , you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and supporting various accounting functions. Your keen eye for detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively will ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Invoicing & Billing :

  • Process customer invoicing in the ERP system.
  • Gather and review shipping documents to ensure completeness.
  • Reconcile freight and service orders weekly to ensure proper invoicing.
  • Enter invoicing details into the truck load system.
  • Ensure timely invoice delivery to customers, including third parties and intercompany transactions.
  • Maintain invoicing and sales data across all systems as per procedures.

Accounting Support :

  • Assist with credit card statement and PAD account reconciliations.
  • Support month-end closing tasks, including report generation and accruals.
  • Help resolve PO / receipt / vendor invoice reconciliation issues with Accounts Payable.

Administrative & Other Duties :

  • Maintain organized records for audits and financial tracking.
  • Monitor fuel cards and calculate fuel surcharges, communicating with customers as needed.
  • Cross-train with other accounting and administrative staff to provide backup support.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • College or university graduate (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of related accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to monitor and check work for accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
