As an Accounting Clerk in our car dealership, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall accounting operations. Your responsibilities will include reconciling invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with financial reports. Your meticulous attention to detail and dedication to accuracy will ensure the smooth flow of financial data, contributing to the dealership's efficiency and success.

Job Duties :

  • Processing invoices, handling payments from customers, and managing payments to vendors.
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Recording transactions accurately, including sales, purchases, expenses, and payments.
  • Regularly checking and rectifying any discrepancies in financial records to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to generate statements, reports, and summaries vital for decision-making.
  • Working with the inventory management team to track vehicle inventory, record costs, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Adhering to financial regulations, dealership policies, and procedures while assisting in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Successful Candidates Possess :

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with payable and receivable.
  • Minimum 2 years of general accounting experience.
  • 1 year of Dealership experience is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of a DMS (PBS, CDK, Quorum, etc.) is considered an asset.
  • College Degree
