Job Summary

Responsible for processing vendor invoices and employee expense reports through ERP system in a timely manner. Coordinate cash application of all customer payments to the appropriate accounts receivable account, address collection issues as required. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on accounting matters, invoices, payments, purchase orders.

Essential Functions

• Process vendor invoices, ensuring approved by department manager and resolve any discrepancies
• Process employee expense reports, with enforcement of ZOLL travel policy
• Assist with weekly cheque runs for vendors and employees
• Assist with monthly A/P closing procedures
• Organize document storage of invoice copies
• Prepare documentation for internal audits
• Process cash receipts to A/R subledger
• Process credit card payments as required
• Distribute customer invoices daily
• Contact customers on unpaid invoices weekly
• Special projects as assigned

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

• Post-Secondary education with a focus in accounting required
• 2-5 years of experience in similar role required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Previous experience with Oracle ERP systems
• Ability to communicate written and oral French a strong asset
