Levert Personnel is hiring a Bilingual Accounting Clerk for a full-time, permanent position, reporting to our Corporate office in Sudbury, ON.

About the job :

The Accounting Clerk will provide timely reporting of accounts payable and government remittances, collect overdue accounts professionally with timely follow-up, and assist in payroll review and deposit authorization.

  • Collections for all Levert Group companies
  • Send out monthly statements
  • Process and apply credit card and other payments to accounts receivable using online banking software
  • Post accounts payable for all Levert Group companies and process payments when due
  • Ensure accurate cheques, bank transfers, and EFT payments are completed as required
  • Respond to accounts receivable and accounts payable inquiries
  • Prepare payroll source payments for CRA remitting
  • Review credit applications and perform credit checks
  • Payroll review of registers and processing to bank
  • Support payroll processing, including entering timesheets if needed
  • Issue WSIB and insurance certificates when required
  • Process stop payments as needed
  • Attend meetings as required
  • Perform miscellaneous office administration tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you need :

  • Fluency in both French and English
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Accounting, or a related field
  • Advanced computer skills; experience with MS Office Suite and CRM is an asset
  • Team-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written)
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
