Precision Resource Canada, located in Cambridge, ON, is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team. This role requires strong organizational and time management skills.

Minimal Requirements:

• University / College degree in Accounting
• 2 years of accounting experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice to Have Requirements:

• Previous accounting experience in manufacturing

Responsibilities:

• Accurately match and verify invoices with packing slips and purchase orders in ERP system
• Follow up and resolve variances between invoice, packing slip and purchase orders
• Ensure all non- PO payments are properly authorized
• Post accounts payable invoices into ERP system
• Maintain proper month-end cut off
• Calculate and journalize RITC monthly
• Accrue for the appropriate expense monthly
• Reconcile Intercompany AP accounts monthly
• Process and post payments and EFT
• Bank Cheque Fraud Protection Program
• Follow-up CFP exception items
• Reconciles supplier statements on random basis
• Maintains vendor/supplier files
• Performs general filing tasks
• Other duties as assigned
