Join a Growing Manufacturing Company That Embraces Technology, Innovation, and Continuous Improvement

About INCOM Manufacturing Group

INCOM Manufacturing Group is a growing manufacturer of safety compliance products seeking to fill an immediate position within the organization. We design, manufacture, and distribute innovative safety and specialty products while continually investing in technology, automation, and process improvement. Check out our website at www.incomdirect.com to learn more about what we do and the industries we serve. We're a growing, hands‑on company where people are encouraged to contribute ideas, take initiative, and help improve the way we work.

About the Role

We're looking for someone who enjoys more than just accounting.

As our Accounting & Business Process Manager, you'll manage the day-to-day accounting functions while helping improve business processes, reporting, and the effective use of technology across the organization.

This is a hands‑on role, that is 5-days a week on-site in a growing, team-oriented manufacturing company. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day accounting function while working closely with management and supervising one direct report. We're looking for someone who enjoys being involved in the details while also identifying opportunities to improve processes and systems.

Working closely with management and other departments, you'll support accounting, inventory, operations, and business systems while identifying practical opportunities to improve efficiency and reporting.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new systems, and contributing to the success of a growing manufacturing company.

If you are an experienced accounting professional, preferably with a CPA, with strong practical experience who has developed solid financial and operational expertise through hands‑on business roles, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day accounting functions for Canadian and U.S. operations
  • Oversee month-end and year-end accounting processes, financial reporting and reconciliations, day-to-day banking activities
  • Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory accounting, and financial controls
  • Administer payroll, pension plans and group benefits
  • Coordinate business insurance renewals
  • Ensure payroll, tax, and regulatory filings are completed accurately and on time
  • Work with external accountants and tax advisors to prepare annual corporate tax filings and year-end financial statements
  • Act as the primary contact for external accountants, auditors, insurance providers, banks, and government agencies
Business Processes & Systems
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, automation, AI, and other technology solutions.
  • Support and optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and related business systems to improve efficiency, reporting, and data accuracy.
  • Work with accounting, sales, operations, and warehousing to streamline workflows and eliminate manual processes.
Operations Support
  • Work with manufacturing and operations to improve inventory accuracy, costing, and reporting
  • Assist with sales reporting, commissions, and other analytical business reporting
  • Analyze financial and operational information to support day-to-day decision making
What We're Looking For
  • We're more interested in your ability, initiative, and willingness to learn than specific credentials.
  • Experienced accounting professionals, CPA candidates, accounting students with relevant practical experience, and individuals with equivalent hands‑on accounting, finance, or business operations experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience managing accounting processes and preparing financial reports
  • Strong Excel, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems is an asset
  • Interest in technology, automation, and continuous improvement
  • Manufacturing experience is an asset but not required
  • Corporate tax and audit expertise is not required—you'll work closely with external accountants and tax professionals on annual corporate tax filings, year-end financial statements, and audit requirements
Who You Are
  • Enjoys solving problems and improving processes
  • Pays attention to detail while understanding the bigger picture
  • Is comfortable using technology and learning new systems
  • Takes ownership of your work and follows tasks through to completion
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
Why Join INCOM Manufacturing Group?
  • Join a stable, growing Canadian manufacturing company
  • Work in a collaborative, hands‑on environment
  • Gain experience across accounting, manufacturing, inventory, and business operations
  • Contribute to process improvements and technology initiatives
  • Work closely with an experienced management team
  • Opportunities to grow your skills and responsibilities over time
  • Competitive compensation, company pension plan, group benefits, and progressive Paid Time Off policies

If you're looking for a role where you can build on your accounting experience while contributing to business improvement and learning new skills, we'd love to hear from you.
