Job Description

Our Oakville client is growing and has an immediate opportunity for an Accounting Assistant to join their team for a 3-4 month contract with a high possibility of extension or even turning permanent! This position will work as part of the accounting team, with strong communication skills who can manage cheque printing, reconciliations, month ends, and respond to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Handle client inquiries
• Claim cheque printing
• AP/AR
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end reporting
• Uploading files and notes to the ERP system
• Offer customer support to B2B clients on account balances and invoice inquiries.
• Print, post, and collate refund and claim cheques.
• Additional duties as required

Requirements:

• 3+ years of accounting experience (co-op experience would also be considered)
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work independently.
