We are currently looking for someone to join our team in the role of Accounting Assistant. This is a full-time role based out of our Waterloo Corporate office, with remote working options available.
The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting transactions and is accountable for ensuring accurate and timely entries to meet reporting requirements. They will assist in ensuring adherence to fiscal policies to support cost control measures. The Accounting Assistant will follow sound accounting principles within CarePartners in accordance with the mission statement, established policies and procedures, relevant legislation, government guidelines, the Collective Agreement and local contract requirements.
In addition to providing home-based health care, CarePartners also serves the community through clinics, transitional care units, and provides relief in retirement homes and shared care settings. Through our Community Nursing Services outreach program, we’ve been organizing staff-led medical care and clinics in countries with poor access to health care since 2009.
