Job description

PreGel Canada is a subsidiary of the Pregel Group, an international organization founded and based in Italy. The group operates in 18 countries worldwide and is a leader in providing high-quality ingredients for gelato, pastries, bakeries, and specialty desserts.

PreGel Canada, as part of this global network, is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team. The person will work in our branch based in Aurora, Ontario and will report directly to the Accountant of PreGel Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Dealing with incoming invoices
  2. Reconciling accounting data to ensure accuracy
  3. Creating and maintaining spreadsheets
  4. Basic accounting
  5. Relations with banks
  6. Checking incoming and outgoing payments for accuracy
  7. Managing documentation, calls, and emails
  8. Scheduling and coordinating meetings and events
Technical Skills
  1. Knowledge of SAP
  2. Knowledge of accounting
  3. Knowledge of Excel
  4. Accounting or business school diploma
  5. Knowledge of English (French also preferred)
  6. Experience in the role: at least 2 years

Will be offered a contract based on candidate’s experience. Gross annual salary range: 45K – 60K
