As our Accounting & Tax Manager, you'll be at the heart of our corporate accounting, treasury, taxation, and accounts payable functions, working closely with our Corporate Controller. This is an opportunity for someone with a strong aptitude for understanding and leveraging accounting systems and technology to optimize efficiency and accuracy in financial processes, systems, and provide critical support to senior leadership in a fast-paced environment. We're looking for a passionate and skilled financial leader to help us achieve our ambitious goals.

This role is a hybrid position based at least 3 days a week at our Downtown Vancouver studio.

Responsibilities include:

• Corporate Accounting: Support month-end close, quarterly reviews, and audits; prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and ensure IFRS compliance.
• Treasury & Cash Management: Manage daily cash, prepare forecasts, and liaise with banking partners.
• Tax Compliance & Support: Oversee tax filings, maintain global tax compliance, and coordinate with external advisors.
• Accounts Payable Oversight: Supervise AP processes, resolve issues, and mentor staff.
• Leadership & Process Improvement: Lead cross-functional projects, improve processes, and establish KPIs.
• Internal Controls: Maintain SOX controls, process documentation, and support audits.

Qualifications:

• CPA or CA with a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years in accounting/tax, preferably with Big 4 experience and familiarity with tech, SaaS, or gaming sectors.
• 2+ years managing teams, experience with offshore teams is a plus.
• Strong IFRS or US GAAP knowledge, system/process improvement skills, and experience with Netsuite and Medius is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
