Job description

Position: Accounting and Operations Coordinator

Support the financial and logistical functions of our business by managing bookkeeping, overseeing shipments, liaising with vendors, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Ideal candidates are analytical, highly organized, and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Details:

  • Type: Permanent - Full Time
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, with summer flex hours
  • Salary: $57K - $60K
  • Benefits: 3 weeks vacation, 6 personal/sick days
Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance (40%)
  • Maintain general bookkeeping and accounting records
  • Process accounts receivable and manage collections
  • Handle accounts payable and ensure timely payments
  • Prepare invoices, manage payments, and perform bank deposits
  • Perform bank reconciliations and support financial analysis
Operations & Logistics (60%)
  • Coordinate shipping and logistics activities
  • Organize company truck routes
  • Serve as liaison with customs brokers
  • Arrange LTL shipments for instrumentation orders
  • Coordinate ISO audits and support operational projects
Qualifications
  • College Degree
  • 5+ years in bookkeeping and logistics
  • Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite is a plus
