Role Overview

We seek an experienced professional to join our Technical Accounting Consulting (TAC) practice within the Financial Services Industry team, with expertise in insurance and reinsurance accounting, LDTI, US GAAP, and statutory financial reporting. The role involves managing multiple client engagements, providing technical accounting guidance, supervising staff, and contributing to business development.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage multiple engagements, providing technical and advisory guidance.
  2. Demonstrate intermediate to advanced knowledge of complex accounting concepts.
  3. Ensure high-quality client service and deliverables.
  4. Collaborate with subject matter experts on complex issues.
  5. Prepare and review technical memos and client reports.
  6. Supervise and mentor staff and senior associates.
  7. Oversee engagement economics and resource management.
  8. Address client concerns proactively and identify improvement opportunities.
  9. Work collaboratively across service lines for integrated delivery.
  10. Develop team members through mentoring and training.
  11. Engage in industry reading and share relevant insights.
  12. Participate in ongoing professional development and business development activities.
  13. Willingness to travel up to 25% or less.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS/BA in Accounting or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of experience in public accounting, financial reporting, or technical accounting.
  • CPA or equivalent certification.
  • Strong U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting knowledge, with expertise in insurance/reinsurance accounting, LDTI, and statutory reporting.
  • Proven leadership in managing staff across multiple engagements.
  • Excellent team management and communication skills.
  • Minimum of 4 years of team leadership or supervisory experience.
