Since 1994, County Farm Centre has been providing the Quinte Region with Crop services, Fuel/Home Heat Delivery, Livestock feed and Retail shopping. We are currently looking to add an Accounting & Customer Service Coordinator to our team. Essential Job Functions
Under the direction of the Controller the Accounting & Customer Service Coordinator will work closely with the management to support products and services offered by the various CFC Divisions.
- Work closely with various CFC division staff – gain an understanding and knowledge of the various products used.
- Lead in filing, photocopying and general office procedures – including filing of application, blend, and delivery tickets.
- Answer incoming telephone calls, direct calls to proper staff and serve as first point of contact for customers entering the office.
- Ensure proper approval of vendor invoices and accurate entry and coding of expenses.
- Assist controller with vendor payments.
- Assist with statements and payment processing.
- Ensure all customer inquiries are handled in a timely fashion and to the satisfaction of both the company and customer by maintaining proper follow-up procedures.
- Accurate data entry for invoicing and customer account payments.
- Run sales reports for management, as required.
- Ensure all month end cutoffs are completed.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Completion of a Post Secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Accounting or Ag-Business would be considered an asset.
- Proven punctuality and organizational skills with the ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines during the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual account close cycles.
- Ability to operate computers with a working knowledge of word-processing and spreadsheet programs.
- Ability to work without close supervision and be proactive, while also being able to work in a team environment.
- Required to work extended hours, particularly during peak seasons. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a positive, professional manner under all conditions.
