We are seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team in Montreal.
The role involves delivering high-quality service to clients, colleagues, and insurers.

Your Day as an Accounting Analyst
Financial Accounting:
- Assist in preparing and analyzing the company's monthly and internal financial statements.
- Analyze complex transactions for accounting implications.
- Maintain shareholder records.
- Calculate distributions and dividends to shareholders annually.
- Update projections and simulations for shareholders.
- Prepare shareholder transaction files.
- Reconcile intercompany balances.
- Monitor cash flow and calculate ratios.
- Review bank reconciliations and prepare treasury reports.
- Draft and monitor accounting policies and internal controls.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain system data related to shareholding and shareholder loans.
- Assist the corporate finance department, including CFO and VP.
Financial Information Disclosure:
- Prepare and analyze consolidated financial information monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Coordinate work and presentations for the audit committee.
- Assist in budget preparation.
- Create presentations and communications for the CFO, Board, and AGM.
- Participate in special projects.
Our Ideal Candidate
- At least 2 years of professional accounting experience.
- University degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Bilingual in French and English, with strong communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and responsible.
