We are seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team in Montreal.

The role involves delivering high-quality service to clients, colleagues, and insurers.

Your Day as an Accounting Analyst

Financial Accounting:

1. Assist in preparing and analyzing the company's monthly and internal financial statements.
2. Analyze complex transactions for accounting implications.
3. Maintain shareholder records.
4. Calculate distributions and dividends to shareholders annually.
5. Update projections and simulations for shareholders.
6. Prepare shareholder transaction files.
7. Reconcile intercompany balances.
8. Monitor cash flow and calculate ratios.
9. Review bank reconciliations and prepare treasury reports.
10. Draft and monitor accounting policies and internal controls.
11. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
12. Maintain system data related to shareholding and shareholder loans.
13. Assist the corporate finance department, including CFO and VP.

Financial Information Disclosure:

1. Prepare and analyze consolidated financial information monthly, quarterly, and annually.
2. Coordinate work and presentations for the audit committee.
3. Assist in budget preparation.
4. Create presentations and communications for the CFO, Board, and AGM.
5. Participate in special projects.
