The Opportunity

Join our Corporate Cost Accounting department as a key player in maintaining, analyzing, and reporting on capital assets within the Corporate Group. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Cost Accounting, this role offers a dynamic environment where your expertise will drive impactful financial insights.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor Capital Projects: Oversee capital projects and perform month-end close activities using PowerPlan
  • Lease Management: Set up and review new corporate leases within PowerPlan
  • Journal Entries & Reconciliations: Prepare monthly capital asset journal entries and reconciliations
  • Policy Communication: Understand and effectively communicate capital accounting policies
  • Power BI Maintenance: Conduct monthly maintenance of Power BI reports.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze corporate costs, including audit fees
  • Project Support: Assist in business development project set-up
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Data Management: Assist in cost center master data and internal order set-up
  • Special Projects: Complete special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Undergraduate degree with a minimum of four years’ progressive, related experience
  • Certification: Professional accounting designation (CPA) required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with counterparts in the company
  • Strong Excel skills, experience working in PowerPlan and SAP, and proficiency with Power BI
