Job Description

As they continue to grow, they're looking for an Accounting Administrative Assistant —perfect for someone eager to make an impact and grow alongside a passionate team. In this role, you’ll report to the Controller and be accountable for supporting the administrative, organizational, and daily needs of the Stoney Creek office.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide proactive administrative support to the Regional VP and liaison with internal teams and external contacts, including the CEO, Division Managers, legal representatives, and government agencies, ensuring smooth operations and communication.
  • Prepare, format, and manage high-quality, confidential documents such as reports, correspondence, contracts, proposals, and presentations.
  • Maintain and organize legal and administrative files, including contracts, WSIB, insurance, and bonding documents.
  • Review and prepare documents for signature; maintain accurate management reports and records.
  • Reconcile credit card statements in line with financial procedures.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, communications, and offsite events.
  • Support HR-related functions such as onboarding and document management, in collaboration with the HR Generalist.
  • Provide cross-departmental administrative assistance and office management support as required.
  • Professionally manage requests and represent the Regional team with confidence.
  • Perform additional day-to-day administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of accounting experience, ideally in a billing type position
  • A post-secondary degree in Business or similar is preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
