We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Administrative Assistant to join their dynamic team. What You'll Do:

As an Accounting Administrative Assistant, you'll play a critical role in supporting both their accounting and administrative operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Accounting Duties

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Issue and track purchase orders and invoices
  • Reconcile credit cards, gas cards, and vendor statements
  • Assist with collections and bank deposits
  • Maintain vendor compliance (WSIB, COIs)
  • Support month-end close procedures

️ Administrative Duties

  • Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide customer support
  • Perform clerical tasks such as filing, printing, and general correspondence
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure workflow efficiency

Compliance & Safety

  • Follow all health and safety procedures
  • Report hazards or incidents promptly
  • Help maintain a safe and professional working environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support (3+ years preferred)
  • Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and maintain confidentiality
  • Familiarity with restoration industry software (e.g., DRS, XA) is an asset
